Odessa airport plan for reconstruction

New project will cost $90m

Odessa city administration and the Vienna Airport consulting arm Vienna Airport Consulting have announced a project for the reconstruction of Odesa airport during 2001-2003. The project valued at $90m is to increase the airport"s capacity to over 10m passengers a year according to Odessa mayor Ruslan Bodelan. The deal is planned to involve the creation of a joint stock company owned by the companies undertaking the reconstruction and the airport management.
