Sibir improves its tourism business
|
|
New offices opened in affiliated offices
Published:
4/7/2000
As part of the plan to develop its tourism business Sibir is setting up tourist operations in its affiliated offices in Tomsk, Kemerovo, Altai and St Petersburg with the intention of developing tourist traffic to their international and domestic destinations such as St Petersburg, Siberia and Altai.
Having hired professional tourist business managers Vladimir Gavrilov, Sibir"s head of tourism, says this will considerably improve the effectiveness of the Sibir tourism offering, by providing the customer with a broad range of services such as visa assistance from one source, as opposed to the current arrangements involving a number of agents.
In 1999 the airline joined the Russian Association of Travel Agencies as an associate member. The Sibir agency has also been recognised by the industry, winning an award for its foreign tours.
