Sibir Tu-204-100

First international flight for the aircraft

Sibir's new Tu-204-100 made its first international flight carrying 130 passengers on a Sibir-organised charter package from Novosibirsk to Antalya, Turkey, on 7th June. The flight will fly weekly throughout the vacation season ending in September and from 21st June, Sibir plans to start using the Il-86 on the route. Sibir's travel agency business is this summer organising vacation packages in Larnaca, Cyprus, and Burgas, Bulgaria, and continuing to grow its booking business. This sold tickets for 14,000 passengers on Sibir last year, through cooperation with travel agents based in Novosibirsk, Western Siberia, Moscow and St Petersburg with frequency once every two weeks.
