An-26 crash in Congo

Problems reported with undercarriage (80 words)

An An-26 piloted by a Russian crew, but belonging to a Congolese airline Stayer crashed on 12th August in the Democratic Republic of Congo according to a report from Interfax.
The An-26, purchased from Taganrog Beriev, was reported to have had problems with its undercarriage while landing at the airport at Chicapa and attempted to return to Kinshasa, but crashed on the return journey. An investigation is currently reported to be underway.
