Restructuring agreement at Nizhni Novgorod

Creditors agree to keep the airline going (100 words)

Published: 9/7/2000

Evgeny Dzyubo, the temporary manager of Nizhni Novgorod Airlines (NNA), has reported that at a creditors meeting on 6th September, creditors voted in favour of the debt restructuring agreement. Dzyubo reported that the agreement, which involves the restructuring of the airline's debts over the next five years, will be developed by a working group who will finalise the details of the agreement for approval by the bankruptcy court. Dzyubo was not forthcoming about details for the agreement other than to say that creditors did want the airline to be bankrupted.
