Aeroflot opens route to Tashkent

Aeroflot will open its planned route to Tashkent in Uzbekistan on the 15th of April by offering three flights a week and joining Transaero, the other bilateral carrier on the route. The new route is part of an ongoing strategy by the carrier to secure a strong position within the CIS market.
The route is new one for Aeroflot, but its affiliate Aeroflot-Don flies from Rostov-on-Don to the city.
