Early reports suggest that RusAl have nominated Zurabov for Aeroflot board (133 words)

According to unofficial reports from the Aeroflot board meeting today, the company's new shareholders, related to Russian Aluminium, have as expected nominated four candidates to join the company's board at the EGM, the date of which still has to be confirmed. The list of candidates is as expected, four in number, but the surprise has been the nomination of Aeroflot's Deputy General Director Alexander Zurabov by Russian Aluminium, given the general expectation that he would be a casualty of the election at the EGM and would lose one of the company's management's two seats on the board. The metal producer's other candidates are reported to include two individuals from financial intermediaries close to Russian Aluminium, Profithouse, a metals broker and Prospect Investment, along with a Russian Aluminium nominee.
