Macedonia adds An-74 order from Ukraine

Macedonia builds first airborne counter-terrorist unit (92 words)

Vlado Buchkovsky, Macedonian Defence Minister has confirmed that Ukraine is soon to add an An-74 to the four Su-25s, nine Mi-24s, Mi-8s and UH-1H and three light trainer aircraft scheduled to be delivered to the Macedonian government. The new aircraft will join the four Su-25s and four Mi-24 helicopters already delivered by Ukraine earlier this year and believed to be operated in part by Ukrainian personnel. According to Buchkovsky, Macedonia is currently forming its first airborne unit for counter-terrorist operations.
