An-24 runs of runway at Surgut in bad visibility

On the 21st February, a Tyumenaviatoran's An - 24, en-route from Tyumen to Surgut, left the runway while landing in poor visibility at Surgut Airport.
According to reports in the local press, the aircraft over-shot the runway by 400 metres, before stopping in deep snow. Only one passenger was injured in the accident, although the aircraft was seriously damaged.
Andey Gordeyev of the Tyumen Division of FSVT is reported to have already started the investigation into the incident.
