Two more Airbuses for Russia

Aeroflot and General Electric Capital Aviation Service (Gecas) signed a protocol on 12 September on five-year operating lease for two A310-300s with CF-6-80C2F2 engines in two-class layout (24 first business and 162 economy class seats). Built in 1988, the aircraft have been operated by Dutch and Spanish charter operators and will be delivered this December, starting scheduled services in January. Before entering service with Aeroflot they will undergo modernisation of avionics and kitchen equipment.(AL1097.6) (VK)
