Fuel for Tunoshna Airport

Negotiations between the airport and German airlines underway (130 words)

Published: 9/4/2000

A delegation from Yaroslavl, headed by Anatoly Koval, advisor to the First Deputy Governor of the region, visited Frankfurt-On-Maine in late August to hold negotiations on cooperation between Yaroslavl's Tunoshna Airport and German airlines. The delegation included Dmitry Permyakov, General Director of the fuel supplier at the airport and Anatoly Sergeyev, Director of the regional division of producer OAO NGK Slavneft. Up until now, Western airlines aircraft using the airport while flying to Russia have used European aviation fuel. Owing to investment by NGK Slavneft , which brought the capacity to produce aviation fuel on line at Yaroslavl's YANOS refinery on May 25th, the producer will now supply fuel to British Airways and Lufthansa.
