Lithuanian Airlines increase Kiev flights

Air Ukraine cancellation of flights opens opportunity (90 words)

Lithuanian Airlines (Lietuvos avialinijos or LAL) plans to increase flight frequency on Vilnius - Kiev route from three to five times per week from 28th October. The reason for the increase according to LAL, is the cancellation of all flights between the cities by Air Ukraine. LAL considers that it has high load factor on the route increasing revenues in 1999 by 7.3% and passengers carried between Vilnius -Kiev- Vilnius route rose by 13%.
