Ministry of Finance report leads to departure (200 words)

The General Director of 100% state owned Tunoshna Airport (Yaroslavl) has been fired after Ministry of Finance's control and audit department in the Yaroslavl region conducted an audit of the airport's activities. According to reports the audit revealed in a forty-page report, a number of problems with the airport's management, no other details however, are available. Nina Ryzhakova, the head of department reported the results of the audit to Anatoly Lisizyn, the Governor of Yaroslavl region, who was reported to have requested the investigation. As a result Victor Kuznezov, the airport's General Director, was removed. He has been replaced by Anatoly Koval, an adviser to the First Deputy of the Governor and a retired Major-General, with close links with the airport, having led a delegation in August of last year to Germany to discuss the use of the airport by German airlines.
