Vladivostok Airport upgrades

Skvarnik outlines the ongoing improvements (84 words)

Svyatoslav Skvarnik, Deputy General Director of Vladivostok's ATC Primoraerocontrol, has announced that Vladivostok Airport has started operating a new landing approach system, SP-90, which he considers to be a significant upgrade of the airport's capability. The new approach technology will also be joined by a new airport radar system, Ekran 85TK, in the spring of 2001. Skvarnik did comment in the speed of payment by the Ministry of Transport, which was slowing the installation programme.
