Published: 4/9/2001

According to reports Transaero is considering taking Aeroflot to the court in response to what the private carrier considers to be price dumping on routes the serviced by the two carriers. According to Transaeroit believes that the Aeroflot action may be costing it as much as $30 m on routes to Germany, United Kingdom and Israel Transaero's Board of Directors will discuss the issue at its meeting at the end of April.
